Countdown to February
2026 marks an exciting new chapter for Mac OBrien with the release of the next eight songs from her anticipated album—an ambitious project developed over the past two years across Nashville, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
This album represents a bold evolution in Mac’s sound, moving away from mainstream country and fully embracing a powerful, female-fronted rock direction. The first two releases, “Cold Blooded” and “Heavy Chains,” served as early market tests online, while the forthcoming tracks reveal the emotional core of the project—delivering deeply personal lyrics, explosive vocals, and hard-hitting instrumentation.
Mac has partnered with producer Brett Boyett and the creative team at TSP Nashville to shape and brand this new artistic vision. Additional announcements will follow in January 2026, with a major release slated for February 2026.
